April 28 letter from Edison❗ Changes and what’s new?
Time to re-focus Math by Edison on strategies that'll help you do better in math!
Hey math students!
And parents, teachers, guidance counsellors, psychologists, learning support …
Edison, the strategy guy here 🔀.
You will have noticed key tweaks and changes in the last few weeks on Math by Edison. They were influenced by the 3-question survey feedback*, as well as a decision to re-focus on the initial reason I started Math by Edison a year ago, in March 2023, which was to share learning strategies that help you do better in school. *Some feedback from survey in brackets below
Here’s some of the key new and changes:
1. Voice articles - first voice was April 25, ‘Here’s how to make Word Problems easier’ (do audio, voice, podcast, prefer someone speaking in my ear vs reading an article).
2. PDF downloads - first one was April 25, ‘Why are Word Problems so hard. Here’s how to make Word Problems easier’ (practical hints)
3. A re-focus on, learning strategies that help students do better at school (more strategies). Just think of me now as, Edison the strategy guy.
4. Math by Edison is now free for all (make it available to more people). Go here to read more.
5. Math by Edison will switch to bi-monthly articles (2x/month) written and/or voice - published on Tuesdays (fewer articles). Go here to read more.
Have a wonderful week strategy friend.
